I built this website to share my research journey in neural engineering and biomedical signal processing in a way that's more personal and in-depth than what's possible on LinkedIn—who really checks project details there anyway? Here, I can showcase unpublished projects, dive into my Ph.D. work at the University of Kentucky, and even get a bit less formal by sharing my hobbies like chess, cricket, and volleyball. My target audience is folks genuinely interested in my work, not just scrolling feeds. Plus, it's a stepping stone for future ventures, like building a company or personal brand. Honestly, the biggest reasons? I wanted to challenge myself to learn web development coming from an electrical engineering background where I mainly used programming for data analysis, machine learning, signal processing, embedded systems, IoT, and control systems, build something for free, and break free from the boredom of third-party social media platforms. Welcome to my corner of the internet!
